Module 1 of 3 (Zones & Uses)

This is the first of three modules proposed to replace the existing Zoning Code and become the City's new Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO). This Module proposes new zones, the land uses allowed, and associated use-specific standards. 

Please review carefully and send your comments by November 20  to abctoz@cabq.gov !  Comments received after November 20 will be rolled into future deliverables. We need your help getting this right to create a successful IDO.

The Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) will be proposed in three Modules: (1) Proposed zones, uses, and use-specific standards; (2) Design standards; and (3) Review and approval processes. Module 2 will be prepared for your review in February/March 2016. Module 3 will be prepared for your review by Summer 2016. The full IDO draft, with edits based on comments we receive, will be prepared for Fall 2016.
