City Council adopted amendments to the Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) via O-20-10 on September 16, 2020.
The legislation was published by the City Clerk here on October 2nd, and the enacted version is available on Legistar. The legislation goes into effect November 2nd, 30 days after it was published. The archive draft is available for review now. Staff is reviewing it for accuracy.
Once confirmed, the footonotes and colored text will be removed to create an Effective Draft, which will be posted on the City Planning webpage and the Interactive IDO website.

Public Review Meetings and Open Houses
Proposed updates to the Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO) were reviewed through a series of public meetings and open houses in May and June 2019.
Planning staff submitted proposed updates as text amendments to the IDO to the City's review and decision process on July 25, 2019 for the annual update, as required by IDO Subsection 6-3(D).
The review/decision process had three steps:

City Council's Land Use, Planning, and Zoning (LUPZ) Committee - COMPLETE
The City Council's Land Use, Planning, and Zoning (LUPZ) Committee held 3 hearings in June and August 2020. On August 12, 2020, LUPZ voted to send a recommendation of "Do Pass" to City Council, including many amendments to the Redline draft of the Integrated Development Ordinance (IDO). The Redline draft incorporated Technical Edits recommended by the Environmental Planning Commission in its review in September 2019 through January 2020.
Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) - COMPLETE
The Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) held 6 hearings from September 2019 through January 2020. On January 23, the EPC voted to send a recommendation of approval with conditions to City Council.
